PHD’s student short-film competition turns the lens on remarkable rural women who are making extraordinary contributions to the development of Timor-Leste.
On Thursday 27 April, the President’s Nutrition Award winners were announced at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Dili. Around 300 people attended the event hosted by the Office of the President and the Presidential Nutrition Awards Secretariat.
On 8 March 2017, the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, H.E Rui Maria de Araújo and Australian Ambassador to Timor-Leste, H.E Peter Doyle, officially launched the Partnership for Human Development (PHD) program to support the well-being of Timorese people over the next decade.
On 9 September, the Hamutuk program was launched in Holarua village in the municipality of Manufahi, with hundreds of community members and school children in attendance.
