Working together to enhance human development for coming generations of Timorese people
The Partnership for Human Development (PHD) is a program between the Government of Timor-Leste and the Australian Government. While Government ministries in Timor-Leste are responsible for the bulk of service delivery across the country, other donors, NGOs and Australian-funded programs contribute to the country’s development in a range of ways.
PHD not only coordinates and complements its development activities with the Government at the national to local level across all eight priority areas, it also works in partnership with a range of development actors to leverage the best possible outcomes for Timorese people.
